Nicole is an evangelist for the J.O.D. (The Joy of Dance)
she draws inspiration from the people she collaborates with, her years of research and practice with Gerzy Growtowski’s Experimental Theater methodology plastiques, Ohad Naharin’s Gaga, Lisa Nelson’s Tuning, Authentic Movement and thirty years teaching improvisation as practice, process and performance to 2-4 year olds, teenagers, graduate students, pre-professionals, professionals and community members. She has taught at a range of institutions including, The Joffrey Conservatory program in NYC, NYU, Hunter College’s Graduate Program, and adjunct at Princeton University. Dancing has been Nicole’s north star since she was 10.
